This week on Project Runway, the designers got to 'meet' some top designers. They were working in teams of 2 to design a signature look that would fit in with the 10 designs in the Metropolitan museum of art. The team leaders were Jay, Jesus, Anthony, Janeane, Mila, Ping and Emelio. Jay chose Maya as his partner. Jesus chose Amy, Anthony chose Seth Aaron, Janeane chose Ben, Mila chose Jonathan, Ping chose Jesse and Emelio was left with Anna Marie. Then when the leaders had chosen their partners, they got to walk around the museum to get inspiration. Then they went back to Parson's to sketch. After they sketched, they went to Mood. Ping had lost her sketchbook while shopping. When they went back to Parson's to come up with ideas, Ping kept changing her ideas for a dress. Anthony was afraid his dress would look like the president of McDonald's. The next day, Tim told the designers that they were to make a second look inspired by another team's look. The teams then chose the dress they wanted to work with. Ping and Jesse chose Emelio and Anna Marie, Janeane and Ben chose Mila and Jonathan, Jay and Maya chose Janeane and Ben. Mila and Jonathan chose Anthony and Seth Aaron. Anthony and Seth Aaron chose Jesus and Amy, Jesus and Amy chose Ping and Jesse. Emelio and Anna Marie were left with Maya and Jay. Only one team member was allowed to go to Mood. When they got back to Parson's, Jesse thought the fabric Ping picked out looked like a fence. When it was time to go to the runway, Ping wouldn't come down. Jay and Maya did really well. I thought their designs were beautiful and unique. Mila and Jonathan made an outfit that looked like something Mila would wear. They made a jacket and pants. I thought it was very different. Ping and Jesse didn't really pay much attention to the challenge. I thought their design wasn't very fashionable. Anthony and Seth Aaron's was too costumey. I felt the same. My favorite was Mila because it fit the challenge most. My least favorite was Ping because it wasn't too interesting. Mila was the winner and Ping was sent home.

Episode 2

It's the next challenge on Project Runway. Jesus wants to be more creative with his designs. Janeane was hoping to go to Mood for this challenge. Heidi sent question marks above everyone's heads. She said the next challenge was out there. The challenge was to create a party look out of a potato sack. But there was a twist. The models for the first time got to choose the designers they wanted. Anthony's new model, Alexis, knew what she wanted. Anthony wanted to make her happy but still not lose who he is. Pamela decided to turn the brown fabric of the potato sack into what looked like it could have been denim just by dying it. Mila was upset that Alexis chose Anthony over her. Jay was confident and wasn't worried about time. Ping was trying so hard to make her model happy that she kind of lost who she is. Tim was worried that the judges wouldn't like Amy's look, which had an open back. Alexis, Anthony's model, wanted blue buttons on a cocktail dress. Anthony didn't think it was a good idea. Jonathan was worried about Ping's look because it didn't completely cover her model's booty booty butt! :) Jay's dress was lovely because it looked good on his model. I liked it because the skirt was interesting. Pamela's dress was too short for her model. Ping's dress wasn't flattering on her model. Jesus' dress made his model look older. Amy took a potato sack and transformed it into a lovely dress. Mila's was my favorite because it was kind of striped. Ping's was my least favorite because it didn't fit the model or the challenge very well. Jay was the winner in Pamela was out.

It's time for another season of Project Runway. The designers are Ping Wu, age 33, Ben Chmura, age 29, Anthony Williams, age 28, Jay Sario, age 31, Pamela Ptak, age 47, Anna Lynett, age 23, Jonathan Peters, age 29, Jesse Lenoir, age 24, Mila Hermanovski, age 40, May Luz, age 21, Jesus Estrada, age 21, Emelio Sosa, age 43, Amy Sarabi, age 25, Christiane King, age 29, Seth Aaron Henderson, age 37 and Janeane Ceccanti, age 27. The designers went up to the roof after they met their roommates to meet the other designers. After that, they met with Tim for their first challenge. They had to pick fabric that was lying around an open yard filled with tons of fabric to make an outfit that expressed who they were. They had three minutes to pick fabric. Christiane is all about color. I am too so I thought it was a good choice. After they picked their fabrics, Tim announced that they could only keep 5. Everyone was in shock. Ping couldn't wrap her fabric into her bag. Then they went to the workroom. Ping likes to put the clothes she creates on herself because she doesn't have a dress form at home. Jesus realised after a while that his model is 5 foot 11 so he had to make his dress longer. Janeane's dress needed to be fixed. Christiane was hoping her dress worked out on the runway. Emelio had only finished the top half of his dress at the end of the first day. Jesus believed he would be one of the top 3. The guest judge was Nicole Richie. On the runway Anthony's dress looked like a bunch of different dresses glued together. Seth Aaron's dress was short and plaid and I thought it was good. Ping's dress was different in style. It looked like a scarf dress. Heidi said Jesus' dress wasn't fashionable. I thought it was boring because it was brown. Christiane's dress was too much in color. Emelio's dress was great. I wanted Emelio to win and Jesus to go home. Emelio was the winner but Christiane went home.
